Terms & Conditions
All prices are quoted in New Zealand dollar (NZD) and include New Zealand goods & service tax (GST) of 15% (01.10.2010).
A 25% security deposit is required upon booking your tour. We accept payment by credit card charge (a 2% surcharge will occur) for down-payments and international money order or transfer for the main payment only. A receipt will be issued upon payments received. Failure to pay the deposit may result in your travel arrangements being cancelled.
Balance of full payment is required 40 days before start of your tour. Bookings made within 30 days of intended travel are to be paid in full immediately upon confirmation.
In exceptional cases (in which we will advise you) a balance of full payment is required 90 days before start of your tour. If a reservation is cancelled within 90 days and 61 days prior to arrival, 25% of the tariff for each night cancelled will be charged. Should cancellation be received within 60 days prior to arrival, 100% of the tariff for each night cancelled will be charged.
Domestic flight tickets will be charged on day of booking and are non-refundable.This also applies to tickets booked for the guide which are needed to get to the purposed location in each induviduel itinerary.
Late bookings are welcomed, payment is required immediately for bookings made within 45 days prior to travel.
The 25% security deposit is non-refundable if the tour is cancelled within 30 days of general bookings. For general bookings 100% is charged if cancellation is within 14 days of arrival, for VIP Travel 100% is charged if cancellation is within 30 days of arrival. A generall cancelation fee of NZ$ 250 occurs at any time!
Aroha NZ Tours will make every effort to refund part of your trip cost, but we cannot guaranty that our travel partners will do the same. For this reason, we strongly encourage you to purchase trip insurance!
After the original booking has been confirmed any modification or alteration will incur a charge of 250 NZD. This does not apply to additional optional tours nor to extensions of your tour and there will be no charge if the modification or alteration will incur only minor costs.
Each traveller must have a valid passport. It is solely the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that all documentation/visas necessary for travel are complete and current.
Aroha New Zealand Tours Limited strongly recommends that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy at the time of booking which should cover medical expenses, loss of baggage, cancellation fees etc. Your travel agent will be able to advise and assist you with this.
The law of New Zealand applies to contracts and disputes and they shall be resolved within a New Zealand court.
Adventure activities have an element of risk and all clients need to realise that there is no absolute guarantee of safety. Aroha New Zealand Tours Limited reserves the right not to run any activity, if in our opinion, the circumstances make the activity too dangerous (e.g. weather conditions, flooded rivers etc.)
Aroha New Zealand Tours takes all reasonable steps to provide an enjoyable tour. However we sometimes travel through areas which can be severely affected by weather conditions, causing disruptions to itineraries and schedules. Assistance will be provided to make alternative arrangements when and where practicable but no liability is accepted for either disruptions or if any operator temporarily withdraws a service for whatever reason.|
Aroha New Zealand Tours Limited is not liable for any event that is beyond our control, including (but not limited to) war, severe weather conditions, nature disasters, industrial actions etc. We do not accept any liability for failure on the part of transport companies, hotel contractors or other principals. Further, the liabilities of air carriers and other principals participating in the tour are limited as specified in their tickets, conditions of contract and/or conditions of carriage and tariffs.
While we take all reasonable care in selecting operators which services are included in your tour e.g. hoteliers, airlines and optional/booked tour excursions we cannot accept responsibility for those operators’ conduct or the conduct of their employees.
Aroha New Zealand Tours Limited has made all reasonable efforts to check the accuracy of information contained in this site. We cannot accept any responsibility for any errors or omissions that may appear.
