Some courses offer a complete package with five-star accommodation and cuisine that showcases the local culture and the country charm of New Zealand.

Prepare to be enthralled by New Zealand's golfing paradise. Our country is a treasure trove of diverse landscapes, each boasting some of the world's most picturesque and challenging golf courses. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a beginner, our dedicated and experienced team will ensure your trip is nothing short of extraordinary. You can traverse from the majestic alpine areas to the idyllic beachside in just a few hours to play at a world-ranked course. This diversity fuels the passion for golf that New Zealanders of all genders share, and we invite you to be a part of this exhilarating journey. "No country has witnessed a more remarkable transformation of its golf courses over the past 20 years than New Zealand" Tom Doak.

Day 1: Auckland - Northland
  • Airport Meet and Greet, transfer to Hotel/Golf Resort. 45min from Auckland)

  • Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland is a multi-cultural urban oasis of food, music, arts and culture. It's where sparkling waters and lush landscapes meet city sophistication. World-class shopping and phenomenal dining are never far from harbours, islands, native bush and black-sand beaches.

  • Only an hour north of Auckland city and close to many stunning east coast beaches, Matakana is a popular getaway spot for locals and visitors alike. Matakana is foodie heaven - if you enjoy home-grown delicacies and award-winning wine, look no further. Treat yourself to a relaxed gourmet lunch overlooking the vines.

Day 2: matakana - Te Arai Links North
  • Positioned alongside a pristine New Zealand coastline, Te Arai Links promises to be a world-class golf destination. It boasts two pure links golf courses, one designed by Tom Doak and the other by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw. Te Arai Links is a scenic 90-minute drive from the Auckland CBD or 25 minutes by helicopter. Only a short trip north of New Zealand's largest city, you'll find yourself in another world—surrounded by trees, dunes, and coastal views over one of the country's most stunning white-sand surf beaches.
Day 3: Matakana - Te Arai LINKs South
  • Te Arai Links comprises two pure-link golf courses nestled into the undulating coastal landscape—each offering different perspectives of the stunning sea views and islands beyond. Debuting in 2022, the South Course at Te Arai was the first of two stellar 18-hole layouts to operate at an exciting new public-access golf complex, which is owned and operated by fund manager Ric Kayne and managing partner Jim Rohrstaff – who are also both involved in the nearby golf development at Tara Iti.

Stay at Matakana (3 nights):

  • Mangawhai, also known as Mangawhai Heads, is nestled between the Pacific coast and rolling farmland. You're offered a choice of seaside experiences here – a surf beach on one side and safe harbour beaches on the other.
Recommended Activities:  Mangawhai offers a range of activities, including water sports, Bennetts Chocolate Factory, and a threat walk at Mangawhai Cliffs Walkway.

Te Arai links accommodation. The Suites, Ocean Cottages, and Villas each offer something unique and have been designed to reflect the surrounding area's landscape.

Te Arai Lodge is an eco-friendly oasis offering boutique luxury and warm hospitality, only 1 hour and 15 minutes north of the Auckland Harbour Bridge. Surrounded by over 20 acres of ancient podocarp forest and native bush, Te Arai Lodge sits on an elevated ridge with panoramic views across the rolling hills of the Brynderwyn Ranges to the stunning beaches and surrounding islands of the Mangawhai coast. We welcome our guests to experience a homestay boutique luxury lodge like no other.

Day 4: Travel to Lake Taupo:
  • Taupo region is the heart of Aotearoa, New Zealand's beautiful North Island. At the centre of our region is sparkling Lake Taupō, the great inland sea of New Zealand. As you travel around the lake, you will find every landscape you can imagine: snow-blanketed winter ski fields and alpine deserts, ancient forests alive with birdsong, trout-filled rivers and the thundering Huka Falls, steaming geothermal valleys with rejuvenating hot springs, and three towering volcanoes in the extraordinary and otherworldly landscape of Tongariro National Park.
  • Recommended activity: Fly fishing, boating, hiking in the geothermal area, or heli flight to the volcano.

Stay at Lake Taupo (2 nights):

  • Kinloch Manor & Villas: Step into a world of unapologetic elegance, where open terraces frame sweeping vistas that flow seamlessly into calm interiors. Immerse yourself in contemporary comfort, where every detail has a purpose and every element supports the overarching whole, reflecting a unique sense of originality and style... the perfect expression of individuality where distinctive spaces celebrate difference and soothe the soul.

Point View Villas, nestled on the shores of Lake Taupo in the centre of the North Island, provides the perfect base from which to discover the delights of New Zealand. In an exclusive private estate, guests enjoy peace, privacy and all the spoils of a first-class stay in our luxury accommodation. The beauty of New Zealand's largest lake and the surrounding mountains is at the
    doorstep.
Day 5: Play at Kinloch Golf Course
  • Kinloch Golf Club at Lake Taupo. This is not your typical Jack Nicklaus course – Kinloch pays homage to the great British and Irish links courses, although it is about as far from the ocean as you can get in New Zealand. The property is a piece of farmland on volcanic terrain, flanked by craggy hills and panoramic views over majestic Lake Taupo. Nicklaus has crafted a rugged, ramshackle masterpiece into this landscape, but it will surprise some visitors to learn that most of Kinloch's features are entirely artificial. The Kinloch aura is of raw links, somehow blended seamlessly into age-old Kiwi sheep-farming territory (shaper Jason Garten was employed to work on the finer details).
Day 6: Travel to Hawkes Bay
  • You've arrived at the newest Great Wine Capital of the World - Hawke's Bay, Food and Wine Country. Plan to experience Hawke's Bay's great outdoors, cycle trails and attractions. Try a tasty drop at our iconic Hawke's Bay wineries, tap rooms and distilleries. Napier's particular Point of difference is its beautifully preserved 1930s architecture. Street after street of stunning and beautifully restored Art Deco buildings has made Napier famous as one of the world's most complete collections of Art Deco buildings.

Recommended activity: Biking, Vintage car trips, winery visits, bird sanctuary

Stay in Hawkes Bay (2 nights):

  • Rosewood Cape Kidnappers is a luxury lodge in Hawke's Bay. It offers generously appointed suites that meld countryside luxe interiors with awe-inspiring vistas. Designed meticulously by Linda Bedell, our suites and villas feature spacious layouts, grand bathrooms, and stunning balconies. Proximity to essential facilities such as the fitness centre, pool, spa, and library enhances the luxury experience.

  • Managapapa Hotel. Elegance, seclusion, and relaxation are three words that describe this stunning luxury boutique hotel & accommodation. Mangapapa Hotel offers the finest luxury accommodation in Hawke's Bay with its twelve magnificent suites, surrounded by landscaped century-old trees, gardens and orchards, the renowned restaurant, day spa & wellness sanctuary and facilities such as the pool and lawn tennis court.
Day 7: Play at Cape Kidnapers
  • The longest drive at Cape Kidnappers is between the public road and the clubhouse. It takes 20 minutes to cover the ground from the gate to the golf clubhouse – a journey that takes you through a sheep, cattle station, and bushland. This degree of seclusion means that the golf course is on pristine land, wedged between the station and the towering cliffs of the Cape. The back nine extends along several fingers of land, separated by deep gullies that dip to the sea. From these points, you can look beyond the cliffs and along the shoreline across the wine country of Hawkes Bay.
Day 8: Hawkes Bay - Flight to Queenstown
  • Queenstown is an adventure hub with towering mountains and a lakeside location bursting with adrenaline and fun. With an array of outdoor activities, Queenstown is the home of the ultimate adventure bucket list. Queenstown sits on the shore of Lake Wakatipu among dramatic alpine ranges. It's rumoured that gold prospectors—captivated by the majestic beauty of the surrounding mountains and rivers—gave this now cosmopolitan town its name.

  • One of New Zealand's premium tourist destinations, Queenstown offers three world-renowned championship golf courses and six Experience courses.
Day 9: Play at Jacks Point
  • Jack's Point is nestled between 2,300 vertical metres of the saw-toothed, razorback Remarkables mountain range and the majestic Lake Wakatipu to the east; Darby was blessed with some beautiful golfing land, amongst the tussock grasslands, rocky outcrops, steep bluffs, and native bush. He is purported to have followed a design principle of minimal excavation, using the integral features of the land as much as possible.
Day 10: Scenic flight to Milford Sounds/Fiordland National Park
  • One of the most dramatic and beautiful parts of New Zealand, the power of Fiordland's scenery never fails to enthral travellers.

This remarkable natural environment features stunning fiords, spectacular waterfalls and snow-capped peaks. Ancient rainforest clings impossibly to the mountains; waterfalls tumble hundreds of meters into massive fiords; shimmering lakes and granite peaks look the same today as they did a thousand years ago.

  • Milford Sound flights offer extraordinary beauty. Be privileged to this majestic fiord, dramatic and awe-inspiring scenery, and prolific flora and fauna. Although the flight to and from Milford Sound has regularly been described as the most stunning part of our tour options, combining this with a Milford cruise on the fiord happens to be the most popular option.
Day 11: Play at Arrowtown Golf Course
  • Arrowtown Golf Club is situated next door to the New Zealand Open venue, The Hills, and just around the corner from Millbrook. Arrowtown is too short to host a modern-day professional pro tournament as it measures only 5,915 yards (5,409m) long, but the course is delightful and is set in spectacular scenery. Perhaps the phrase' golfing gem' was coined for this course?

  • In the afternoon, enjoy wine and gourmet food at some of the local wineries nearby.
Day 12: Scenic drive to Lake Wanaka
  • Wānaka has the buzz of a genuine alpine town and is the ultimate hub for outdoor adventures. Mount Aspiring National Park is located nearby and is the perfect destination for exploring the Southern Alps.

  • Visit parts of Mount Aspiring National Park. Named for Mt Aspiring, one of New Zealand's highest peaks, this park is a dreamland of mountains, glaciers, river valleys, and alpine lakes. A hiker's paradise, Mount Aspiring National Park offers many short walks.

  • Take an authentic and educational adventure through the mountains of Wanaka's historic West Wanaka Station, a 30,000-acre private farm on the edge of Mt Aspiring National Park and overlooking Lake Wanaka. Exciting Alpine 4WD backroads. Encounters with free-ranging red deer, sheep and Angus cattle. Jaw-dropping scenery allows for incredible photography opportunities.

Stay in Queenstown (5 nights):

  • Queenstown Park Hotel There couldn't be a better location for a 5-star hotel. It's right in the heart of what's happening, yet ideally placed for breathtaking alpine views. Relax in boutique accommodation, enjoy complimentary canapés and breakfast, and let us arrange for you to enjoy the best our region has to offer. With over 50 years' experience providing exemplary hospitality, we're dedicated to ensuring your stay is an authentic, luxury Queenstown experience.

  • Rosewood Matakauri Lodge Just seven minutes away from New Zealand's vibrant adventure capital of Queenstown, Rosewood Matakauri is a tranquil alpine lakeside resort in one of the world's most breathtaking landscapes. Spectacularly located on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, the retreat overlooks the mesmerizing panorama of the surrounding peaks: Walter, Cecil, and The Remarkables. Crowned as one of the finest resorts in the country, Rosewood Matakauri is your restorative haven after a day of exploration.
