We are constantly upgrading our fleet with new vehicles with improved fuel efficiency.
Our fine fleet of immaculately maintained vehicles, ranging from premium 4WD (for singles or couples travelling) to smaller, comfortable V-class Mercedes Vans (for groups of up to 6 travellers, like families) and 12-seater/16 seater high-roof luxury Mercedes Sprinters (for friends and groups of up to 14 travellers), is dependable, practical, and efficient.
We have a recycling program to ensure minimal waste and environmental impact. We recycle all plastics, cardboard/paper, and food/green waste. In addition, we work closely with our suppliers to source environmentally friendly packaging.
All of our vehicles have a transport license for passenger services. During your visit, you will be accompanied by an experienced and trained Aroha NZ Tour host (driver/guide). Our guides have a licensed passenger endorsement for their driver's license, granting them the legal approval to drive paying passengers and a first-aid certificate. They will take care of all your needs and essential details, allowing you time to relax and enjoy a unique experience.
Work time includes all time spent working, whether it is time spent driving or doing other work.
In general, drivers must take a break of at least 30 minutes after 5½ hours of work time, no matter what type of work occurs.
In any cumulative workday, they can work a maximum of 13 hours, and then they must take a continuous break of at least 10 hours (as well as the standard half-hour breaks every 5½ hours). A cumulative workday is when work that does not exceed 24 hours begins after a continuous rest time of at least 10 hours.
Any driver can accumulate 70 hours of work time a 'cumulative work period') before taking a continuous break of at least 24 hours.
