Kauri Cliffs: The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs glows in the morning light as the sun rises to reveal panoramic views across the untouched coastline and deep blue ocean. Sumptuously designed by Virginia Fisher expressly with you in mind, the spacious Suites, Deluxe Suites and Family Suites offer peace, comfort and complete relaxation. Set away from the main lodge and amongst native New Zealand forest, the 22 guest suites are housed as pairs in outlying cottages near the lodge spa, gymnasium, tennis courts and swimming pools.

Cape Kidnappers: The Farm at Cape Kidnappers sits atop rolling hills and rugged cliffs that give way to vast sea views and an ever-present horizon. Warm and enveloping, Cape Kidnappers’ generous suites offer sumptuous, rustic-luxe interiors and awe-inspiring views in equal parts. Each of the spacious Hilltop, Hilltop Family, Ridge and Lodge Suites provide guests with some differences while delivering peace, comfort and pure relaxation. With incredible attention to detail from designer Linda Bedell, you’ll be ultimately at ease when you walk into the thoughtfully designed suites with large bathrooms and lovely balconies. Hilltop and Ridge Suites are a short stroll from the main lodge buildings, while the four Lodge Suites are adjacent to the main facilities. Matakauri Lodge: Spectacularly located on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, Matakauri Lodge looks out to a mesmerizing panorama of the big three; The Remarkables, Cecil and Walter Peak. At the end of another genuinely memorable day exploring this world-renowned region, come home to your Matakauri Lodge accommodation. With clean lines in glass, stone and timber, Matakauri’s take on luxury is understated and welcoming, embracing guests and championing the mountainscape. Four suites are classically located within the main lodge, with the remaining suites nestled on the banks of Lake Wakatipu overlooking the mountain panorama. You will be met on arrival at Auckland International Airport by your Aroha NZ Tours Representative, and transferred to your accommodation in our luxurious vehicle. Depending on your arrival time you can spend the rest of the day at your own leisure relaxing or exploring the city.

In Kerikeri you can dip into New Zealand history, browse art galleries and enjoy the fresh local produce. This town is full of character, charm and flavour. The town has a long, colourful history. The area was home ground for the fearsome Maori chief Hongi Hika, who terrorised many tribes throughout the North Island in the early 1800s. Yet he was kind to missionaries, allowing Samuel Marsden to establish New Zealand's second mission station here. The Kerikeri Mission Station, also known as Kemp House, is New Zealand’s oldest standing European building. Built to house the Reverend John Butler in 1821, this elegant wooden home has the protection of the Historic Places Trust.

Kauri Cliffs Golf Course is currently ranked #37 in the world by Golf Digest. The Kauri Cliffs golf course, designed by David Harman, of Golf Course Consultants in Orlando, Florida, is an eye-popping 6510-metre par 72 that overlooks the ocean. Kauri Cliffs were named the 49th best golf course in the world by Golf magazine and awarded Best New International Golf Course in 2001 by Golf Digest. Since it opened in 2000, Kauri Cliffs has quickly gained a worldwide reputation that was enhanced in March 2003 when it was the site for Shell's Wonderful World of Golf and a match, hosted by veteran American broadcaster Jack Whittaker, featuring American PGA Tour star Fred Couples and New Zealander Michael Campbell. The inland holes wind through marsh, forest and farmland, and 15 holes have sea views. Six holes are played along the cliff top that plunges into the sea and in that way are unmatched by any course anywhere.

Hawke’s Bay is one of New Zealand’s warmest, driest regions and this has made it one of the country’s leading producers of wine; notably red wines – cabernet sauvignon, merlot and Syrah – but also with some quite stunning whites. The region is the first stop on the Classic New Zealand Wine Trail, and it's a popular place for bicycle wine tours.

To get a feel for the Hawke’s Bay region’s geography, head up to Te Mata Peak, where you’ll be rewarded with spectacular views in every direction. The nature trails here are perfect for hikers and mountain bikers, and on a clear day, you can see as far as the volcano of Ruapehu in the distance – hundreds of kilometres away.

Napier is the Art Deco centre with beautifully preserved 1930’s architecture. The city centre has a feeling of a time capsule. Napier’s other special attractions include the gannet colony at Cape Kidnappers and the many vineyards that make good use of the region’s alluvial soils. Pinot Gris and Syrah are the region's signature drops.

Cape Kidnappers Golf Course is currently ranked #16 in the world by Golf Digest. The Cape Kidnappers par 71 golf course measures 7,119 yards (6,510 meters) and will challenge golfers of all skill levels. Completed in 2004, our spectacular New Zealand golf course has been hailed as one of the great modern marvels in golf. Built on a ridge-and-valley landscape and with stunning sea views, Cape Kidnappers Golf Course plays high above the ocean atop dramatic cliffs. With cliff-edge fairways perched 140 metres above sea level and with surface that remains firm and fast, this course offers holes unlike anything you find elsewhere in the world. While every hole has a spectacular view of the Bay, some play cautiously alongside deep ravines as others intimidate golfers with deep cliff top bunkers and sheer drops off the very edge of the earth.

Or: Gannet or Kiwi tour. Cape Kidnappers is an extraordinary sandstone headland to the east of Hastings in Hawke's Bay. It was named by Captain Cook after an attempt by local Maori to abduct one of his crew. The cape is home to the largest and most accessible Gannet colony in the world. Take a guided tour and travel in comfort in the air-conditioned 4 x 4 wheeled vehicles, through Cape Kidnappers Station - traversing riverbeds, broad rolling pastures, through stands of native bush, steep gullies and breath-taking inclines.

Queenstown is one of New Zealand's top visitor destinations and if you come to the region you'll understand why. The town sits on the shore of crystal clear Lake Wakatipu amidst dramatic mountain ranges; this stunning location will blow you away. Queenstown is suited to all kinds of adventures – especially throughout summer. Activities like paragliding, Zip lining, 4WD Driving, and kayaking are the perfect way to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. If adventure isn’t your thing and you just need time to kick back and relax, there are plenty of rejuvenating experiences on offer. Affectionately called ‘Central’ by those that know it well, Central Otago is New Zealand’s most inland region, located in the southern half of the South Island. It’s breathtakingly different with vast undulating landscapes, rugged snow-capped mountains, clear blue rivers, deep gorges and tussock-clad hills. Stop in Arrowtown, a historic colonial village that takes you back to the Gold Mining days of the Otago region. Visit the surrounding areas of Arthur's Point and then it's on to Coronet Peak for more spectacular views of Queenstown.

As an 18 hole par 72 championship course it offers golfers an exciting challenge with five tee positions to choose from, providing all golfers with an unforgettable golf experience. The course has been designed around the natural landscape, with minimal excavation. The course measures 6388 metres (6986 yards) from the championship tees and is built on the most spectacular of Jack's Point terrain. Designed in harmony with the natural and local eco-environment, weaving through native tussock grasslands, dramatic rock outcrops, steep bluffs and swathes of native bush to the edge of Lake Wakatipu. The presentation of the course is second to none, which makes Jack’s Point one of the world’s great golfing experiences.

Or: Experience with Skippers Canyon Jet Boat a spectacular guided tour of Skippers Canyon via the infamous Skippers Road, followed by a thrilling jet boat ride through the narrowest canyons on the Shotover River. You will discover a land rich in gold mining history and breathtaking scenery just a short distance from Queenstown.

One of the most dramatic and beautiful parts of New Zealand; the power of Fiordland's scenery never fails to enthral travellers. This remarkable natural environment features stunning fiords, spectacular waterfalls and snow-capped peaks. Ancient rainforest clings impossibly to the mountains; waterfalls tumble hundreds of meters into massive fiords; shimmering lakes and granite peaks look the same today as they did a thousand years ago. 

Fly South out of Queenstown as you fly over Mavora Lakes, you will see large-scale farmland, New Zealand native forest to Manapouri. Into Fiordland National park, over into Doubtful Sound which is the second largest Fiordland, view Deep Cove, the Browne Waterfalls, Campbell's Kingdom. Experience a remote beach landing before returning back to Queenstown over Te Anau with an alpine landing in the Eyre mountains to conclude your experience.

Featuring a championship golf course, the finest hospitality and a constantly changing sculpture park, The Hills delivers a world-class golfing experience. The Club is set over 101 hectares (250 acres) of former deer farm on the outskirts of Arrowtown. The Millrace winds its way through the property and feeds the ten lakes and various ponds and waterways on the golf course. Trees, both native and exotic, are a feature of the course. The championship course layout is a challenge for even the best of golf players. Plenty of thought and consideration was given to the design so that it's enjoyable for all skill levels and abilities.
