Day 1: Auckland - Ferry to Waiheke Island

The white sandy beaches at Oneroa, Palm Beach and Onetangi slope gently down into the Hauraki Gulf and are perfect for swimming, kayaking, or having a picnic.

Day 3: Auckland - Domestic flight to Queenstown - Wanaka

Central Otago is New Zealand’s fastest growing wine region and also it's most scenic. From the beautiful scenic centre of Queenstown on Lake Wakatipu to the beautiful scenic centre of Wanaka on Lake Wanaka by way of the Crown Range, the highest main road in New Zealand which offers some fascinating views.

In the morning experience the rugged beauty and solitude of the spectacular high country, with this exclusive 4WD journey exploring a historic New Zealand sheep, cattle and deer farm. Maori and European historic sites, pure mountain air and breath-taking scenery. As braided river valleys, native beech forests and lush alpine meadows give way to the dramatic glaciated Southern Alps, the pure beauty of the scenery pushes daily pressures a million miles away.

Part of Te Wahipounamu - Southwest New Zealand World Heritage Area, Mt Aspiring National Park is an area of unrivalled natural beauty and host to hundreds of hiking tracks, rock climbing routes and trout fishing rivers, all within easy reach of Lake Wanaka. At its heart is Mt Aspiring, the park’s highest mountain at 3,027m and known to early Maori as ‘Tititea’ or ‘glistening peak’.
Or: Take a Heli Tour to the Middle Earth Waterfalls for a picnic you’ll never forget. Fly through the Moonlight saddle and over the Richardson Mountains to Mt Earnslaw, past the blue ice of the hanging glacier before descending to land on the valley floor, over 1000-metres below. Day 5: Wanaka - Milford Sound - Queenstown

Queenstown which is the Southern Hemisphere’s premier four season lake and alpine resort. Surrounded by majestic mountains and nestled on the shores of crystal clear Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown’s stunning scenery is inspiring and revitalizing. The region is renowned for incredible adventure activities and spectacular outdoor terrain. Queenstown has transformed into a sophisticated cosmopolitan town, with a permanent buzz. where you’ll find a fantastic choice of restaurants, a lively bar scene and excellent shopping.

Leaving Queenstown behind we helicopter west towards the head of Lake Wakatipu. At the top of the lake, we fly past ice shelves, waterfalls and enjoy a mountain landing on snow. We then continue on through Fiordland National Park to the remote West coast and experience a beach landing. Here beside the Tasman Sea you can soak up the fresh salt air with vast ocean views and generally warmer temperatures. Excellent opportunities for lots of photos too! Leaving the beach we fly over beautiful subtropical rainforest to Milford Sound, the 8th Natural Wonder of the World.

Day 6: Queenstown - Wilderness Jet Boat Trip

In the morning you will be visiting the tiny settlement of Glenorchy. This is one of the most beautiful places in New Zealand and used for a favourite location in several Hollywood film productions and commercials around the world.

Take a jet boat experience through Paradise Valley. Your Wilderness Jet boat trip is an exhilarating and spectacular journey deep into the heart of the world-renowned Mt Aspiring National Park with the only jet boat operator allowed on the Dart River. The sheer diversity of what’s on offer means you experience a unique combination of breath-taking scenery matched with exciting jet boating on braided, glacier-fed rivers. Highly informative guides add the personal touch, talking about the area’s history, the Greenstone trail and Maori legends.
