  • Dig your own natural hot pool metres from the Pacific Ocean at the world-famous Hot Water Beach. Great surf, cafes & art galleries add to this very Kiwi experience. Take an eco-glass boat experience to explore the stunning Coromandel coastline and the Te Whanganui-A-Hei marine reserve.

Day 7: Ranagtikai Farm Stay (one of our personal favourite stays)

  • Departing from Tarata, rafting through gentle rapids, crystal clear waters, vertical gorges and unbelievable scenery of the Rangitikei River. Visit a secret waterfall and stop for a Picnic lunch and swim. Float quietly through Middle Earth, scenes from the movie Lord of the Rings.
  • There is plenty for the whole family to enjoy. The family is always looking for help collecting eggs and feeding the chickens, pigs, deer, goats, dogs and puppies, rabbits, possums, sheep, and turtles. Plus, they need any extras, especially in spring when we are bottle-feeding the orphan lambs.
Day 8: Rangatikai - Wellington
  • Situated at the southern end of the North Island and nestled between green hills and a sparkling harbour, Wellington, New Zealand, is a little city with a big heart.
